Trevor Gordon Bannister (14 August 1934 – 14 April 2011) was an English actor best known for playing the womanising junior salesman Mr. Lucas in the sitcom Are You Being Served? from 1972 to 1979, and for his role as Toby Mulberry Smith in the longest-running sitcom Last of the Summer Wine, from 2003 until it ended its run in 2010. dies at 76

Christmas Time - the perfect time to serve the last of the Summer Wine

My friends at Electric Sofa hosted a very special lunch at The Pakenham Arms in Holborn in London, that saw me, Jean Fergusson, Robert Fyfe, and Burt Kwouk reunited with Last of the Summer Wine writer Roy Clarke, and producer Alan J W Bell.

We had a fantastic afternoon, it was great to catch up with everyone, we really felt like we were at home on the set, just waiting for Alan to say 'turn-over', and the food was amazing - what was it all in aid of - well I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you - as they say - watch this space... !!!!
